Bennelong Golf (St Mellion) Limited awarded EGS the remodelling and renovations contract of the two existing courses, Nicklaus Course and Kernow Courses, in January 2008.  EGS were the main contractors for the project. Nicklaus Design were the architects for the Nicklause Signature course and Alan Leather Associates Ltd were the landscape designers and engineers for the Kernow Course.

The project consisted of the renovation of the 18 hole Nicklaus Course in preparation for the English Open in 2011 and the remodelling of the Kernow Course to accommodate new housing development and infrastructure. The works on both courses were undertaken while the course remained in play.  The works included renovation of bunkers and tees on the Nicklaus Course and the construction of 4 new holes, remodelling of 12 green complexes, fairway bunkers and tees on the Kernow Course. The practice area was also redeveloped during the project.
